Advertising Policy

ONEnetwork Sponsorship & Advertising Guidelines
Applies to all ONE[City] chapters

Purpose
To ensure sponsorships and advertising partnerships across the ONEnetwork ecosystem align with our brand standards, legal boundaries, and community reputation. These guidelines empower local chapters while protecting the integrity of the broader network.

General Guidelines

  • Sponsorships must align with ONEnetwork’s values of community engagement, positive social impact, and integrity.

  • Sponsorship tiers and benefits (e.g., booth space, banners, shoutouts) must be clearly defined in writing.

  • Sponsors contributing $1,000 or more must be disclosed to ONEnetwork HQ.

  • Sponsorships must not override or interfere with charitable giving commitments (10% of ONEcard revenue and 10% of event profits remain non-negotiable).

  • Exclusive sponsorships (e.g., “official gym” or “official realtor”) must be cleared by HQ to avoid conflicts across chapters.

Permitted with Restrictions
ONEnetwork allows sponsorships from businesses in the following sectors under specific conditions:

  • Alcohol brands (e.g., breweries, distilleries): promotional content must be tasteful and not directed at minors.

  • Cannabis businesses: must be fully legal in the operating state; no explicit medical claims or imagery may be used.

  • Gambling businesses (e.g., casinos, sportsbooks): content must include responsible gaming disclaimers when applicable.

  • Adult content and services (e.g., shops, websites, entertainers): no explicit or suggestive visuals, language, or promotional materials may be published through ONEnetwork channels.

  • ONEnetwork will not promote illegal drug use or display explicit sexual content, nudity, or graphic materials. All marketing content from these sectors must be pre-approved by HQ if intended to run through official channels.

Prohibited Sponsorships
The following categories are strictly prohibited:

  • Illegal drug brands or businesses involved in trafficking/distribution

  • Explicit adult media (e.g., pornographic platforms, escort services)

  • Unlicensed or unregulated financial schemes (MLMs, crypto scams)

  • Political campaigns, PACs, or partisan organizations

  • Entities under legal investigation or public controversy

Required Disclosures
Sponsorships over $500 must be submitted to HQ and include:

  • Sponsor name and contact

  • Cash or in-kind value

  • Visibility/perk outline

  • Duration of agreement

  • Any potential exclusivity

  • Confirmation that content complies with ONEnetwork ad restrictions

HQ Oversight

  • HQ reserves the right to reject or revoke any sponsorship deemed harmful to ONEnetwork’s reputation, legality, or charitable mission.

  • Multi-city or state-level partnerships must be routed through HQ before execution.

  • All sponsorships from regulated industries must be disclosed and follow HQ creative guidelines.
